Luxury eyewear for cats
Catelier creates refined cat eyewear from premium acrylics, polished edges, and whisker-and-ear-friendly details, made to feel like something you would choose for yourself.
First collection expected at £20-£40
Catelier is for people who want a cat accessory that feels intentional: elegant enough to gift, carefully finished enough to keep, and distinctive enough to make the portrait.
First drop
The first Catelier frames are designed around quality acrylic, crisp profiles, polished edges, and small construction details that make the product feel considered in the hand.
Premium cast acrylic sheets selected for rich colour, clarity, and a proper eyewear-like finish.
Laser-cut profiles are refined with smooth, glossy edges so the frame reads as elegant, not crafty.
Frame width, bridge clearance, lens opening, and strap position are considered around whiskers, ears, and feline face shape.

Material, edge finish, lens treatment, strap hardware, and fit geometry are all developed together before a frame ever reaches the camera.
Material
Hindleys cast acrylics give the frames colour, clarity, and a more optical-accessory feel than ordinary novelty plastic. Tortoiseshell, champagne, smoke, blush, and olive finishes are selected for richness and photographability.
Finish
The silhouette is precision cut, then the edges are refined so the frame catches light cleanly. The aim is a smooth, glossy edge that looks deliberate in close-up.
Lenses
Clear, lightly tinted, and mirrored lens finishes are being explored alongside each frame colour. The finish changes the expression of the piece while staying mindful of weight, visibility, and brief supervised wear.
Attachment
Rounded side connectors hold the soft strap without making the side profile look like an afterthought. The attachment is designed to sit clear of the ears while still feeling like an eyewear detail.
Fit
Frame width, bridge clearance, lens opening, and strap position are considered around whiskers, ears, nose bridge, and eye area. Some cats will tolerate accessories and some will not, so wear should always be brief and supervised.
